Less than 20% of plastic surgeons are female making Dr. Susan Zhong a welcomed recruit to Tacoma. She brings her experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where she was mentored by experts in the industry to provide a full range of breast and body procedures. She is also passionate about advancing the field of plastic surgery. Dr. Zhong is a key option leader for Allergan Aesthetics and creator of the international movement, LIMITLESS Leaders, to diversity surgical leadership by highlighting stories of trailblazing female surgeons. As an Army wife and mother of 2 under 2, she understands the challenges of many transformative journeys within aesthetic surgery and welcomes the opportunity to empower each of her patients.
